MIRA-BHAYANDAR MAHANAGAR PALIKA LEVEL SCIENCE EXHIBITION 2004-05 From 8th Dec, 2004 To 10th Dec, 2004
The Joint effort of Education Department, Zilla Parishad (Thane) Primary & Secondary Section with the lion share of Rahul Group Management brought in the fragrance of love & appreciation, round of applauds and touch of success to the science exhibition. The inauguration of science exhibition on 8th Dec, 2004 solicitated with the message of spreading knowledge through love & unity, claimed many laurels. This opportunity was shared by the eminent personality witnessing the show.

While addressing the crowd Smt. Smita Kakan the Deputy Director of Mumbai Division appreciated the co-ordination of the programme and arrangement made for the science exhibition on behalf of the Education Dept. She forwarded a heartfelt letter of thanks to Shri Lallan R. Tiwari for giving an affirmative node for the science exhibition and also thanked all the trustees on Managing Committee for shouldering the financial burden.
Honourable Guest Shri P.K. Pandey flattened & impressed everyone by his speech. He shared his vast experience and gave immense knowledge about new scientific technologies & discoveries. He also propounded the message to the young scientist to be scientific at their attitude & believe in the facts & cause.
Nearly 92 Primary schools & 74 Secondary Schools & Higher Secondary institutions participated in the scientific exhibition. About 212 projects from various schools & Jr. Colleges were deployed for the exhibition.
Science Exhibition was not only for the students but also for the teachers. They took active part by presenting the projects on various topics like population-education & Teenage period, Teaching aids etc.
Science fair was witnessed by nearly 42,540 students of various schools at Mira-Bhayandar. Judges Panel took considerable time to forward their decision, as it was tough time for them in Judging the competition.
Rahul Group of Schools bagged in all 6 prizes out of 14 at the exhibition. Shri L.P. Mali Education Officer (Secondary Section) Zilla Parishad, Thane, distributed the shield & certificates to the winners of the Science Exhibition. It was indeed a remarkable achievement which is a pride and the clear sight of hard work, devotion & dedication of the teachers & students for the competition.Through this article in the Soviner "Utsav - 2005" we, the management & staff of Rahul Group, extend our heartfelt and sincere thanks, for the overwhelming response and kind hearted co-operation given by the principals, teaching staff, Education dept of the Mira-Bhayandar vicinity for making the science exhibition a grand success.
