The Mother Mary's Junior College was established in the year 1999 with an objective of providing opportunity to the students passing out from the Mother Mary's High School to continue further education. The college was started in a humble way with 50 students enrolled in one division of commerce stream. Later in 2002, one division of Science stream was added.
The college takes pride in its modern infrastructural facilities such as state-of-art laboratories , a good library and large airy classrooms with modern teaching aids. With such good infrastructural facilities which were complimented by untiring efforts by a dedicated team of teachers over the years, the Mother Mary's Junior College has entrenched itself as a leading institute in its category in Mira – Bhayander area. It has currently about a thousand students on its roll.
