There has been an ever increasing demand of good trained teachers , particularly HSC-D.T.Ed. qualified teachers to teach at the primary sections in Marathi medium schools across Maharashtra. The fact that there are a large number of Marathi Medium Schools in Palghar and surrounding areas, it was appropriate for the Bhavani Education Society ( Regd. ) to establish a teacher's training college offering D.T.Ed. program in Marathi medium.
With this background, the Bhavani D.T.Ed. College was established in Palghar in 2009. The college is recognized by SCERT , Pune and approved by the Department of Education ,Govt. of Maharashtra. Although initially a few students have registered, the college authorites are confident are receiving good response from the candidates desirous of pursuing teaching as their career.
